We would like to nominate Dave Hopkins for footer of the month. Dave has been bare footing for over 40 years; he is currently 56 years old. He still bare foots frontwards and backwards and competes in the senior division at footstock. He has held a small figure eight contest for 26 years straight, of which he is a three time champion. The only thing he likes better than bare footing himself is teaching some one how to barefoot. He is constantly giving back to the sport by his willingness to help someone learn from scratch and will always help someone learn a new trick. It is his giving nature that has prompted us to nominate him for footer of the month. Dave has the ability and excitement on the water to keep the sport fresh and make barefooting with him enjoyable year after year.

We have attached a picture of him from years ago and a recent photo of him with his daughter in law.

Ron, Todd, Ross, Jordan, Grant, Payton, Cheryl, Brad, Stacey, Matt, Patrick, Bethany, Chip, Jennifer, Ken, Dave, Jake, Blake, Kelly, Trent, and a host of others that he has taught the sport.

Thanks for taking the time to nominate Dave.  He sounds like he's made a positive impact on many lives through the sport he loves.  Yet another great potential BFC Footer of the Year.
