Here at Barefoot
Central, we're always looking for new ways to WOW our audience,
while at the same time, challenge the top level footers on our team to
try and experience new things. It's all about pushing the limits
to new heights.
Back in 2006, we came up with the idea
of barefooting behind an ultra-light airplane. So we took out with
a small group of team skiers and shot the video "Pretty
Fly"

The shoot was so fun, we decided to do
it again in late 2007. This time, we recruited more skiers to
attend as well as invited Waterski Magazine to come out and take a few
shots for their magazine. To our delight, Editor Todd Ristorcelli
himself showed up. So we put him right in the middle of the
action. The result was a great article in the March 2008 Issue.

article.
During that day, we had at least 5 HD video
cameras rolling, several still cameras, two jet skis, a jet boat, a Mastercraft
chase boat, a helicopter, a plane, and 7 eager barefooters. For
over a year now, we've been trying to figure out
what to do with the footage. It's practically impossible to
portray that incredible day in a 3 minute video, plus, we had
already done that with Pretty Fly.
So what we've decided to do is show you
a series of videos over several weeks that will give you the entire
"Behind the Scene" look at what goes into making a BFC video.
You're going to get to see all the footage. We'll assembly it for
you so you get a feel for what it was like to be there. So sit
back, relax, and get ready to experience Sole Plane. We hope you
enjoy it. We'll also be adding new pictures as we go along
in our journey.
