When barefooters talk about the best boat to wake behind, it's no contest.  Sanger Boats has set the standard by which all other manufacturers strive to meet.  Keith trains behind the Sanger DXII with a 6.2L Black Scorpion Mercruiser.  In order to keep hours at a minimum on this boat, the Sanger will only be available to students during their wake sets.

In 2009, Keith purchased an older version Sanger Outboard.  The Sanger outboard went out of production in 2002 and is still legendary among footers as being the best barefoot boat ever made.  It has virtually no side spray, so working tricks on the boom are very easy.  The wake is small and flat.  A dream to cross.

Keith also has access to his assistant Judy Myer's inboard Sanger (shown below).
