Andre De Villiers, along with two of his good skiing
friends, who happen to be pro wakeboarders, was Invited by the
President of Congo to help celebrate the opening
of his new hotel. It was the first time
barefoot waterskiers or wake boarders were allowed to ski in the DRC.
It was a great opportunity to visit a country so few get to visit and
introduce the sport of waterskiing to a nation of people who've never seen
it. Andre described the trip and a once in a lifetime opportunity that
he'll never forget.
During his visit to the Congo, he went tiger
fishing, and got to know the locals and how they like to
have fun. The President of the Congo was a most gracious host and had
the skiers escorted anywhere they wanted to go. Andre made a short
