I would like to nominate Pete O'Neil as the skier of the month.  Heinrich and I just made a 2 week trip to Australia to ski in the Waterski Expo that Pete organizes every year.  All I can say about this guy is "What an Amazing Host!"  He takes people into his house and feeds them, entertains them, and the kids just love him.  He has got this amazing sense of humor and he is always ready to help anyone that wants to ski whether it is barefooting, hydro-foiling, skiing, or just riding on a tube. 

He has been one of the best skiers in Australia, and the world, for many years and is now one of the Sam families true friends. He's doing great things for the sport and we hope he continues those efforts.

Peter has been organizing the Mulwala Freestyle Sports Expo for several years.  If you didn't read Chris Morrison's write-up about it last year, CLICK HERE.  Peter dedicates a lot of his free time organizing this event each year and has gone out of his way to invite barefooters from all over the world to attend.  This was Heinrich's 2nd year to attend.  Eugene and Heinrich spent several weeks in Australia conducting training clinics in order to offset some of the cost of their trip.  Peter made sure every clinic was booked solid prior to their arrival and made sure they were well taken care of during the visit.  Eugene taught barefooters from all over Australia.  Some skiers drove over 9 hours just to attend the clinics that Peter had organized.

Many of you may remember Peter's visit to Footstock 2006.  He competed in his first Footstock, made fun of Dave Mueller, and did the first front flip out of a ski start during competition.  If you haven't seen that video, CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO.
